“ I have been going to Hong Food for over two decades. I still remember the student discount we used to get. Rice or noodle plus 2 meat items for 2.59. I still drop by here when I am in the area. Their quality is always consistent. My favorite is the medium box rice or noodle plus 3 items currently priced at $7.25 plus taxes. Overall Hong Food is one of the better food court Hakka food I have had. ”

“ Hong Food has been one of the best finds ever! I tried their food for the first time a few weeks ago and kept going back. By now I've tried most of the items and I gotta say, they're all consistently good! The lady running the store is also super sweet and never skimps on the portions! Considering the abysmal prices of food in 2024, Hong Food is very much reasonable and a wayyy better bang for your buck compared to the average fast food place. If you're going by the Malvern mall and wanna eat, my go to would be the medium combo with the spicy rice, hakka beef, manchurian chicken and fried chicken. Grab a medium soda from the circle K on the other side and you get a banger meal for about 10 dollars including taxes! ”

“ Hand slaughtered halal, and can't beat the 6.65$ price for a loaded small noodle! I got non-spicy noodle with ginger chicken and sweet n sour chicken. LOTS of spicy chicken, spicy rice, and spicy noodle options. Very good service, good portions, and the prices are not bad. I think its a husband/wife running the shop! They seem very clean and considerate of cross contamination and don't handle your money with the same gloves. The food tastes great and they aren't stingy. Plenty of places to eat in the old-style mall food court in front. Its the go-to spot for the high schoolers during the lunch hour. ”

“ Can never go wrong with a combo meal here. The prices are low for the amount they give you, I’ve been eating here for over 10 years now All the staff are really friendly. Not to mention the value of what you get. They always fill up to the top. I got a three item combo w choice of rice or noodle, and it comes up at $8.75 after tax. You can even ask for half rice half noodle. In the mall food court, this would be at least $13+ ”
